The Company was awarded ISO 14001 certification, issued for the implementation and maintenance of an Environmental Management System.
Co.Me.A. has been committed to sustainable practices at every stage of the production process, thus reducing its environmental footprint over time. The scrap metal byproduct of the production processes is stripped of excess oils and recycled directly with their metal rod suppliers or into the secondary metal market.
Thanks to the energy produced by its photovoltaic system, the Company has been contributing to decreased environmental pollution, by preventing 60,000 kg of CO2 per year from being released to the atmosphere.
